On the 15th of November, my class and a few others went to Calliope`s Theater in Lisbon, to see the play Macbeth (adapted).
Calliope Theater Company is a company that presents plays in English, aimed at children and teenagers.
Macbeth (the original) was written and performed by William Shakespeare, one of the most famous English playwrights of all centuries.
This play presents a story about Macbeth and how he became king of Scotland, after killing Duncan, who was the previous king of Scotland, but the play presented
the story amusingly. It was fascinating because during the play, which was an interactive performance,
we were encouraged to participate and join the actors on the stage, so we had a great time.
